Financial support for students participating at the conference
- Master's or PhD student

- The student must be enrolled in the program for the entire duration of the trip
- There are no restrictions on your citizenship, you just need to be a student in an accredited study program at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague

Shortly after the application deadline, you will receive official confirmation of your scholarship award and information about the next steps from the International Office.
Financial agreement
No later than one week before your departure for the conference, you will be asked to sign a financial agreement and will receive a copy of the scholarship award decision. You will be asked to bring/send any conformation of your registration to teh conference. It could be a copy of participation fee payment. You are also obliged to have travel insurrance arranged.
- The financial agreement can also be signed after your return from the conference. If you are unable to stop by before your departure, please let us know.
The scholarship will be sent to your bank account after signing the contract and receiving the scholarship award decision (within a few days). The account number you fill in on the application form should be listed among your personal data in SIS.
The scholarship is a fixed amount and serves as a contribution to travel expenses. However, if you are employed at the University of Chemistry and Technology and your trip is also financed from other sources, this scholarship will be included in the settlement.
- In the proposal for a foreign business trip (if you are employed), enter only "MOBI" for the item to be covered by MOBI. No fund number is required.
In the 2025/2026 academic year, the scholarship amounts to:
- CZK 5,000 for trips within Europe
- CZK 8,000 for trips outside Europe
Before departure
Be sure, you have arranged your travel insurance.
We recommend that all students traveling abroad register on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website in the DROZD database.
- In the event of an emergency, the embassy will assist in organizing help for those who voluntarily provide information about their planned stay abroad.
Obligations after return
A condition for receiving the scholarship is the submission of a certificate of conference attendance no later than 14 days after return. This obligation is also stated in the financial agreement.
Conference organizers usually send official certificates by email or make them available for download. If the conference does not issue such a document, have the Confirmation of Stay (CoS) document signed. You can find a template in "Documents to download" at the bottom of the page.
