Support for students facing financial and other obstacles

Option to apply for an increase of EUR 250/month.

This support may be requested by students who receive a social scholarship at the UCt Prague under the conditions set out in Section 91(3) of the Higher Education Act, and/or those who are entitled to child allowance under Part Three, Chapter One of Act No. 117/1995 Coll., the State Social Support Act.

Furthermore, students traveling with a dependent (child) whose household income does not exceed 3.4 times the minimum subsistence level.

Possibility to apply for a shortened period of stay.

Students who can prove the need to travel for a limited period of time due to:

• caring for a child (or other family member)
• health restrictions,
• PhD students with work obligations related to their studies or research
• and other possible reasons

may travel for a period shorter than the minimum specified in the given programs. Applications are dealt with individually during selection interviews.
