Support for students facing financial and other obstacles

Option to apply for an increase of EUR 250/month.
1. Students with financial constrains
- Students may apply up to the age of 26 (including 26; the decisive age is assessed before the start of mobility)
- all documentation proving eligibility must be valid on the date of commencement of mobility
- confirmation proving eligibility for financial support:
a) the student's household receives at least one component of State Social Assistance Benefits.
• confirmation of receipt of State Social Assistance Benefits in accordance with Act No.
151/2025 Coll. on State Social Assistance Benefits is provided for the last completed
quarter; such confirmation is valid for Erasmus+ mobility for the entire period of
mobility
b) the student already receives a social scholarship at their home university:
• decision on the award of a social scholarship
c) students already receiving another special scholarship awarded by the university due to
economic disadvantage:
• confirmation of the award of a special scholarship
• e.g., due to their situation, the student already receives an extraordinary scholarship awarded
by the dean or another person authorized to award extraordinary scholarships due to
poor financial circumstances
The confirmation is further supplemented by a sworn statement that the student has no other income than that documented.
2. Students with children
- No age limit
- Proof of birth certificate and, at the same time:
- Confirmation proving entitlement to financial increase:
a) The student's household receives at least one component of State Social Assistance Benefits.
• Confirmation of receipt of State Social Assistance Benefits in accordance with Act No.
151/2025 Coll. on State Social Assistance Benefits is provided for the last completed
quarter; such confirmation is valid for Erasmus+ mobility for the entire period of
mobility
The confirmation is further supplemented by a sworn statement that the student has no other income than provided.
Possibility to apply for a shortened period of stay.
Students who can prove the need to travel for a limited period of time due to:
- caring for a child (or other family member)
- health restrictions,
- PhD students with work obligations related to their studies or research
- and other possible reasons
may travel for a period shorter than the minimum specified in the given programs. Applications are dealt with individually during selection interviews.
